Donate for combat and reconnaissance drones for the Ukrainian army. 100% of your donation will go to Czech projects that supply Ukraine with this crucial equipment.
The Ukrainian army started using small civilian drones against Russian occupiers in 2014 and since then drones have become an absolutely vital weapon and tool for Ukraine's defence. Their crucial advantage is cost. Attach an explosive to a drone for a few thousand and you can take out enemy equipment worth tens or even hundreds of millions. Moreover, drones are accurate, faster than anything the Russians have on the ground, and thanks to the mastery of Ukrainian pilots, they can assert themselves in absolutely incredible situations.
Drones are only used on the front for attack and suicide missions. On the contrary, their essential use is for tracking enemy troops, planning their advance, and tracking the wounded. Drones also resupply cut-off units and operations in the enemy's rear.
The supply of drones is also crucial for the defence of Ukraine because the Russian side has already understood that drones are absolutely essential in this war and is investing massively in their purchase and development.
We are investing the money we raise in several types of drones. First, there are commercial drones in different price ranges, mostly from the DJI Mavic family of drones and higher-specialized models. These drones mostly serve as reconnaissance and surveillance machines. The Ukrainian military knows them, can modify them for their needs and protect them from Russian interference.
The second category is specialized attack drones, which are assembled from scratch according to the needs of the Ukrainian army. These are not drones that you buy in a store, but are assembled from commonly available parts and their development involves a number of specialists and volunteers in the Czech Republic and Ukraine. Most of these drones come from the Czech volunteer organization VozímDrony/Aerorozvědka, which we have been supporting since 2022.
What is important for us is not only to deliver the drones to Ukraine, but also to ensure the training of their operators, targeted delivery to verified units and, most importantly, close cooperation with the Ukrainian side, which is involved in the development and distribution of equipment to the front.
We donate funds from our long-term collection to organisations we trust and have long-standing relationships with. Our key partner is the Czech organization Aerorozvedka and its initiative Vozím drony. Our important partner is also the soldiers of the International Legion in Ukraine, where a number of Czech volunteers are deployed. But we also supply drones to specific units, specialised forces of the Ukrainian army and humanitarian organisations.
