Armor Her: Equip Ukraine’s Women Defenders

The women defending Ukraine on the front line risk their lives every day but are unlucky because their equipment is not made for them. Most armor and gear are designed for men, which means women wear heavy and ill-fitting equipment that slows them down, reduces their performance, and puts them at risk. That’s why we are trying to raise money for 50 super-light Angel Armor ballistic vests, specially designed for Ukrainian heroines on the front lines. We want to ensure these brave defenders have the best possible protection and can continue fighting safely.

What we will purchase

50 ultra-light Angel Armor ballistic vests, including plate, carrier, and ballistic panel. Angel Armor vests are among the lightest and most advanced types of personal ballistic protection available. Each vest weighs 2 kg, compared to the standard 7 kg or more. These vests are designed for mobility without compromising protection and provide high protection against shrapnel – the main cause of injuries on the front line. Their ergonomic, curved design ensures a better fit for women, reduces strain, and allows greater agility in combat.

Who we are helping

The funds will be donated to the organization Veteranka, a Ukrainian non-profit dedicated to supporting active service members and female veterans. They provide essential support to women defenders, from frontline needs to psychological assistance, advocacy, and reintegration into civilian life. These life-saving vests will be distributed directly to women defenders and combat medics across several units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, such as… Together, we can protect these women and give them the armor they deserve.
